Methi and peas are rich in vital vitamin and minerals and dietary fibre. Along with rice, which has carbohydrates , you can make yummy healthy mashed methi rice for your baby. This is one of the superb foods that can be given to babies while introducing solids to them.

Contents
½ cup rice, ¼ cup methi, ¼ cup peas, salt as per taste, 1 tsp oil, 1 cup water
1. Wash rice well and keep aside.
2. In a pressure pan, add oil. Once warm, add the finely chopped methi leaves. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the peas and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Add rice, salt and mix well.
5. Add 1 cup water and pressure cook the rice for 3 whistles.
6. Once the steam gets cooled, tasty methi rice is all ready to be relished by your baby for lunch/dinner.
