Requisites: A-4 size paper, crayons, multi-colored blocks, some colored chart papers, scissors, glue, pencils, erasers.

Steps:

1. Ask the kids to draw a picture of any object. It can be a car, strawberry, umbrella. To make it more interesting, ask them to draw a big dinosaur.

2. After they are done with drawing and coloring, help them to cut out the dinosaur and stick it on a colored chart paper with glue.

3. Ask them to write their name on the chart paper and write a line saying, 'My dinosaur is _ blocks tall'.

4. Use blocks on their drawings and measure the height of the dinosaur and write on the chart paper.

5. Also, do not forget to compare everyone’s dinosaur and also ask them to predict each other’s height.

6. The other variation of this activity can be, the kid has to guess the number of blocks before you measure the drawing.

This super creative task will help your child learn about measurements and will get to enhance his fine motor skills better.
